Media Summit NYC wraps up

We just participated in our first major industry event and it was a huge success. KickApps had a presence at the Digital Hollywood Media Summit in NYC and we were thrilled with the number of major media companies that came to see us expressing the need for our platform. Our ability to create an “Open Portal” (see Eric’s blog) environment for any website with our UGC and social networking platform resonated well and seemed to get us above the noise from the several point solutions in the market. Eric also participated on a panel entitled “Personal Media Redefines Entertainment, Communications & News: As User Generated Video, Social Networks, Blogs and PODs Become Mass Media and Big Business”. It was a standing room only audience that was very engaged on the topic.
