On to business…our very own Mike Sommers, SVP of Products, will be speaking today at the Digital Media Conference in Silver Spring, MD, today. Mike’s panel is entitled “What’s Next in Web 2.0?” and is at 1:15pm – 1:45pm. The panel will be moderated by Ned Sherman, CEO & Publisher, Digital Media Wire. Mike will be talking about the drivers and implications of social media. Be sure to pop by and say hi if you’re attending the event.

TechCrunch: “KickApps Delivers”

Great review of KickApps today on TechCrunch. I’ll keep the commentary short, but the quick version is that that they think we rock. Says TC’s Duncan Riley:

Overall it’s a great offering. Strictly from a publishers view point the ability to keep your own domain on top of the white label service is compelling, and the feature set is remarkably easy to use and set up. The company has numerous existing deals and will officially announce a tie up with Vibe Magazine today. Given what I’ve seen I have little doubt that despite the competition KickApps will go from strength to strength, it’s a white label social networking platform that delivers.
