KickApps (and New York City) in the Cloud

KickApps has been deep in the cloud from day one and this week we had a couple of partner initiatives to share.

1) KickApps is at Sun’s JavaOne this week talking about: Platform-as-a-Service. Eric Alterman, KickApps’ founder and chairman, will be giving a presentation about our products and the idea of Platform-as-a-Service in the Sun cloud. We’ll also be in Booth #515, “Sun Cloud Partners” in the Cloud Zone, on June 3: 10am – 4:30pm; June 4: 10am – 2pm. 2) What is Akamai Doing in the Cloud? Akamai is KickApps’ strategic partner in ensuring the highest quality and availability of media and content on the KickApps platform. By default, we use the Akamai Global Edge Network to handle all of our content delivery needs.
