Using Widgets to connect to a larger community
Thanks to Mashable for pointing out Brides.com’s new MySpace marketing program. On their dedicated MySpace page, Brides.com offers two Widgets for members to add to their own profile pages – a bridal quiz and a wedding day countdown ticker.
We’re not a part of the Brides.com launch, but it’s a great idea – Widgets are core to the KickApps platform because they encourage community members to declare their brand affinity and drive additional traffic from aggregator communities like MySpace, TagWorld, and Bebo into contextually relevant communities.
