Background

The KickApps platform provides a suite of social applications, available as both hosted web pages and REST web services. Some of these apps are designed to include video players and other widgets built in the App Studio (learn more about how widgets fit into the KickApps platform).

To activate KickApps hosted pages, enable one of the following Apps by following the steps below.

• Audio Sharing
• Photo Sharing
• Blogs
• Groups
• Message Board

Enable and Disable Apps

To add or remove apps,

1. Log into the KickApps Affiliate Center
2. Browse to Configure > Settings > Add/Remove Apps
3. Check the boxes of apps that you would like to add.
4. Uncheck the boxes of apps that you'd like to remove.
5. Click Save.

If you've removed an app, every part of that feature will be removed from your KickApps-hosted pages.

Customize the widgets on your KickApps pages

Once you've activated apps that provide KickApps hosted pages, your new pages will be live with default video players and other widgets installed on them. You can customize the widgets on these pages by following the directions in our Customize the widgets on your KickApps pages article.
