Activating/Deactivating Apps

Based on the type of site you have, you can choose to activate/deactivate KickApps apps in the Affiliate Center via the Configure > Settings > Add/Remove Apps page.

To activate an application simply check the check box corresponding to that app. To learn more about an application click on the corresponding help (?) button.

Once an application is activated, your site members will be able to interact with that app and will start seeing links across your site ( navigation, my home, list pages etc). If your community is already underway, we encourage you to take the time to Broadcast a Message to your members regarding these changes.

Note: If you disable an application after enabling it, all of the content that was added for that app will become unavailable on your site and people who try to view that content will see a message that the content has been removed. Re-activating the application will make that content viewable again.
