Flagging Content

Flagging sends an email notification to the site webmaster when inappropriate, offensive, spam or deceitful content is posted on your KIT Cloud Social Site. Your site member's can flag content using the "flag" links available on the media play pages, member profile pages, and message board posts.

You can choose to automatically remove content from your site after a certain number (default is 3) of members have flagged the content. This feature is available under Affiliate Center > Manage section. To disable this feature set the value to 0.

Note: We highly recommend that you do not disable this tool as this enables your community to help you fight spam. For more pointers on how to fight spam, click here


You can also manually manage flagged content by sorting media items by clicking on the "Flags" column on the Affiliate Center> Mange> Media Page.
