Layers

Every component lives in its own layer. All components are shown in the Layers panel in the left column of the App Studio. There are 4 ways to bring components forward or push them backward:

1. Drag and drop a component's layer entry in the Layers panel

   

2. Select a component, then choose a command from the Object menu.

   

3. Click the Up arrow next to a component in the Layers panel to move it to the top layer.
4. Select a component, then right click on it to reveal the context menu. Select an option to move the component forward or backward in the layers stack.

   

You can also delete a component (and its layer) by clicking on its entry in the Layers panel and then clicking the trash can icon. Clicking on a component and then clicking the superimposed rectangles icon will duplicate the selected component.
