Chief Financial Officer

As CFO of KickApps, David has group responsibility over finance, human resources, legal/compliance, office operations and administration.  His remit includes all aspects of financial operations including accounting, audit, financial strategy, reporting, treasury management, fundraising, and investor relations.

Before joining KickApps, David was CFO of CTSpace, a SaaS provider of document, collaboration and business process management solutions to the construction, oil and gas, and other fixed-asset intensive sectors.  CTSpace was the result of the 2006 merger between Citadon and BuildOnline, where David was Finance Director.  At CTSpace and BuildOnline, he oversaw Finance, HR and Legal functions across the group’s six operating units in San Francisco, France, Germany, the UK, Austria and India comprising of over 100 employees and contractors.  David left CTSpace in early 2008, following the company’s sale to France’s Sword Group.  Prior to joining BuildOnline, David founded RomCap Srl, a Romanian commercial property investment fund, which continues to operate several hospitality businesses from the firm’s real estate holdings.  He was previously an Associate at GRP Partners, a Los Angeles and London based venture capital firm, where his role included financial and market due diligence, deal execution, regulatory compliance, advising portfolio companies and acting as an Observer on their boards.  David started his career at the Parthenon Group, the Boston-based strategic advisory firm, where he participated in a variety of projects in the retail, publishing and electronics manufacturing sectors and was a founding member of the firm's London office in 1997.

David a B.Sc. in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma.  He speaks English, French and German.
